MORTGAGE LOAN ORIGINATOR- Central Ohio (Mansfield area)
SUMMARY OF POSITION DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for origination of long-term mortgage loans as well as lot, construction, and bridge loans. Conducts initial pre-qualification interviews and prepares complete loan application packages and necessary documentation. Conveys policies for extension of credit in accordance with Credit Union and secondary investor guidelines. Meets Mortgage Loan scheduling and documentation requirements, and production expectations as determined by the Mortgage Lending Manager and Vice President of Lending. Serves members, prospective members, builders, developers, and Realtors promptly and professionally. Responsible for building member relationships by actively uncovering needs and offering products/services to meet those needs. Must have the willingness and ability to use Consultative Sales and Service skills to serve members needs. Assists Mortgage Loan personnel as necessary.

COMMERCIAL UNDERWRITER
SUMMARY OF POSITION DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for reviewing and analyzing routine to complex commercial and business loans. Risk assesses credit applications for commercial and business loans and ensures compliance with Directions Credit Union’s risk management strategy and Credit Union credit policy. Prepare and present loan opportunities to the credit union credit committee. This position will require analysis of credit information and financial documentation, and will also perform site visits to evaluate the condition of the business or property as necessary. Position is responsible for performing loan interviews and communicating with our members in an effective and professional manner. The ideal candidate will also counsel other members of the Lending Services team to resolve any member application problems and assist other Credit personnel as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, finance, accounting, economics or equivalent professional training and experience.

Three to Five years experience in a credit analysis role relative to commercial lending.

Understanding of related legal and regulatory standards, and required Commercial and Business loan documentation.

Thorough knowledge of Commercial and Business lending practices.

Knowledge of real estate lending practices.
-
Experience with cash flow analysis.
-
Strong computer skills.
REQUIREMENTS
-
Five years Commercial and Business Underwriting experience with a full-service financial institution.
MEMBER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE I - PART TIME TELLERS
SUMMARY OF POSITION DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for providing a variety of paying and receiving functions, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers’ checks, money orders, and cash advances. This position requires accuracy and efficiency. Must balance each day's transactions and verify cash totals. Performs a broad variety of member service functions and assisting members with account problems. Performs specific assigned assignments and assists other Tellers and co-workers with a variety of duties as required. Ensures that members are promptly and professionally served. Must have strong communication skills. This position requires the willingness and ability to build member relationships by actively uncovering needs and suggesting credit union products and services.
