Scholarship Opportunities
Daily money management choices directly impact your financial future. In most instances, we never get to practice making the “right choices”. Finances 101, an online reality game created by credit unions, allow users to experience real-life financial decisions in a virtual world. For each scholarship offered below, view and spend time playing the Finances 101 Online Game then answer the essay question listed on each eligible scholarship application.
Directions Credit Union (post-secondary & high school)
Directions Credit Union is offering scholarships for our young members. We are offering two $1000 post-secondary scholarships (full-time students of accredited colleges, community colleges, vocational/trade schools). Also, we will be offering two secondary scholarships (school tuition for 8th-11 graders).
Spend time playing the Finances 101 Online Game then answer the essay question listed on the application.

Northwest Ohio Chapter of Credit Unions (post-secondary)
The Northwest Ohio Chapter of Credit Unions will be awarding two scholarships, one for $2000 and one for $1500. If you are chosen to receive the $2000.00 scholarship from the Northwest Chapter, your application will be forwarded to the statewide scholarship program sponsored by the Ohio Credit Union Foundation, which awards four $2500.00 scholarships.

North Central Chapter of Ohio Credit Unions (post-secondary)
The North Central Chapter of the Ohio Credit Union League will award four $500 scholarships. If you are chosen to receive a scholarship from the North Central Chapter, your application may be chosen to participate in the statewide scholarship program sponsored by the Ohio Credit Union Foundation, which awards four $2,500 scholarships.
