September 21, 2011 - Women's Financial Tool Kit

The third annual Women's Financial Tool Kit was held Wednesday at the Longview Center in Mansfield. 75 women registered to attend. The seven hour workshop focused on how women can better manage their money, with an emphasis on protecting themselves from identity theft and scams.  Jenni Paramore, our Directions Credit Union Education & Community Outreach Specialist, spoke about personal money management.  Read more...

January - February 2011 - My Life & Money Youth Education

Directions Credit Union visits libraries in Central Ohio where youngsters took part in the My Life and Money.  The program is presented through a game setting in an effort to teach youth about money.  The object of the game is to experience life by having a job, receiving money, saving money, etc. Both Ontario and Madison libraries took part.

October 31, 2010 - Glenwood School Halloween Parade

On Sunday, we participated in the Rossford Halloween Parade with students and staff from Glenwood Elementary. We have worked with Glenwood for the last several years by donating school supplies, teaching Junior Achievement, and participating in Family Fun Night.

 

October 30, 2010 - Shred Day

Northwest Ohio Credit Unions participate in a Member Shred Day.  Two Kroger locations were drop offs with All Shred taking and destroying documents.   Total documents shredded was 6,565  pounds or 3.28 tons.  By shredding and recycling we saved 56 trees.

 

      

October 23 & 24, 2010 - Pumpkin Path at the Toledo Zoo

Northwest Ohio Credit Unions participated at the Pumpkin Path at the Toledo Zoo.  Candy Land was the theme with over 15,000 visitors!
